| Monday, November 17, 2008 Wow, the past four days have been quite eventful! The Chey-guy’s house burned down on Thursday…of course that would be enough in itself to make the last four days crazy! On Friday night the ladies had their ‘Chick Flick’. Saturday after a morning counseling session, I crashed and finally awoke to make my last preparations for Sunday morning. Then of course there was Sunday’s service. God is certainly up to something HUGE, as Fuccillo can only describe it!!! On to top things off I am teaching the morning Bible class this week at the King’s School, of which I am thoroughly enjoying. Stay tuned for further updates. Blessed is the individual who remains steadfast under trial, for when he/she has stood the test he/she will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12 _______________________________________________________________ Wednesday, November 12, 2008 I’m sitting in Charlotte, North Carolina waiting on my connecting flight to Albany! Yes I am very excited…if you couldn't tell. The conference in Myrtle Beach went well, and more importantly my five days of conferencing has finally come to an end. I am excited about coming home and staying there for a while. And just in case you are still wondering…change is coming – so instead of running from it, let’s chase it and refuse to let go!!! Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 _______________________________________________________________ Monday, November 10, 2008 Yes, I am still alive! The leadership summit in NYC went very well. Service yesterday morning was one of the most exciting services I have been a part of ever; and last night’s leadership meeting was extremely productive…we see change, we are pursuing change and we will embrace change!!! I am now sitting in my hotel room overlooking the ocean in Myrtle Beach, SC. It’s a tough life, but someone has to live it. The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it. Proverbs 27:12 _______________________________________________________________ Friday, November 7, 2008 I believe I am over the virus that found me late Saturday night, thank GOD!!! I am now readying myself for a jam packed six days. First, I go to NYC - today, tonight & tomorrow to instruct other Pastors concerning Media Ministries. Sunday holds two services; the morning obviously (in which thousands will attend while hundreds are saved), and there is also Sunday night (in which the leadership will be sharpened to that of a razor). And finally, I fly out Monday morning to Myrtle Beach for a church conference related to my role as a State Youth Board Member. Don’t worry, I will be returning on Wednesday evening. And NO, I will not be tanning on the beach – trust me, I burn more than I tan!!! So that is the run down. Pray for me and I’ll pray for you!!! One who is full loathes honey, but to one who is hungry everything bitter is sweet. Proverbs 27:7 _______________________________________________________________ Tuesday, November 04, 2008 Go and vote today! If you need any guidance, consider voting for the candidate whose last name begins with M (his running mate’s last name begins with P). I trust these helpful hints will be ‘helpful’!!! Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring. Proverbs 27:1 _______________________________________________________________ Sunday, November 2, 2008 November has arrived! I have no idea where October went, but I see Thanksgiving and Christmas approaching rapidly. And did I mention the days have now been shortened due to a new season and the turning of our clocks. It seems as though time has become a rare commodity. Well, enough of my ranting; I feel like some pundit on Fox News Channel! Today was a miraculous day! I thought on multiple occasions throughout the morning to call in sick. I must have picked up some virus late Saturday and by the time Sunday morning arrived I was sick! But because of my stubborn nature, I pressed on to church. God moved in a mighty way by suppressing my “sickness” and proceeding with HIS plan. God is faithful, I know that full well!!! The kids and I had a wonderful meal with some wonderful friends as Heather (with Preston of course) had a lunch meeting with Women’s leadership team. After eating, I came home and retired for the day on the couch…I was due for some much needed rest. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called ‘today,’ that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. Hebrews 3:13 |
